Marcel Breuer Cantilever Chair Ceska S64
Marcel Breuer´s daughter, Francesca, stood as a namesake. Hence the affectionate name Cesca for this classic of modernity.
The cantilever chair was originally made of unreinforced tubular steel. The material gives the chair model S64 more elasticity and thus a higher seating comfort.
The visual separation between substructure and seat is impressively successful in the Cesca, in that a continuous supporting frame is used.
This design concept is also found in other cantilever types.
The Cesca chair can be ordered in natural beech, black stained beech, white lacquered beech or stained beech nut. (Seats and backs are each provided with the so-called Viennese natural wickerwork).
NEW: Now also available with black synthetic mesh cover. Please see the detailed pull down menu.
TOP quality feature: Tube ends welded, hand-polished and chrome-plated. (Cheap suppliers do without this detail and use only plastic caps).
Seat and backrest made of Viennese natural mesh (beige) on natural beech wood frame. Can be ordered in black or walnut stained or white lacquered.
Now also available with the synthetic mesh cover in black. (See pull down menu).
Tubular steel frame always high gloss chrome plated.
