The Le Corbusier Armchair LC2 was in the past initially more casual than the today's plain and strict version of the LC2 armchair by Le Corbusier. The frame was always lacquered, the five inserted pillows (two as seat, two armrests, one in the back), filled with feathers, were softer and friendly crumbled. So the armchair doesn't look cubic but round. This is what makes the LC2 armchair likeable.
 
For today's manufactured models of the Le Corbusier Armchair LC2 changes and innovations are fed into the production process. This is apparent in a flawless chromium plating, hard-wearing seat covers and the inner parts of the Le Corbusier Armchair LC2.
