Das Zweisitzsofa der Modellreihe LC3 von Le Corbusier wurde von einem Kunden als Sonderanfertigung bestellt und dann leider nicht abgeholt.  

Im Gegensatz zum Petit Modéle der sogenannten LC2 Sofa-Serie ist das Fauteuil Grand Confort, Grande Modéle Sofa - auch als LC3 Sofa bezeichnet - mit großzügigeren Polster Proportionen gefertigt und etwas niedriger als der LC2 Sofa "Kollege". Die eher strenge Formensprache verliert sich dadurch und das Grande Modéle wirkt runder und gemütlicher. 

Der spezielle Stoffbezug ist hochwertig und in seiner Machart eine Sonderanfertigung.

Wie alle unsere Möbel wird das LC3 Zweisitzsofa von Le Corbusier in ausgewählten Italienischen Fachbetrieben in Handarbeit hergestellt.

Le Corbusier (1887 – 1965)
whose real name was Charles-ƒdouard Jeanneret-Gris and who was of Swiss-French descent, was considered one of the most important designers and architects of the 20th century.

Corbusier worked as an artist - was a draftsman, painter and sculptor - later architect, urban planner and furniture designer.

Le Corbusier became famous for his furniture designs. His most famous works were the LC2 armchair, the LC1 Basculante chair, the LC4 chaise longue, the LC7 swivel chair, the LC6 dining room table, the LC3 two-seater sofa, the LC5 sofa. He derived his pseudonym Le Corbusier from his great-grandfather Charles l'Eplattenier, who furthermore was his teacher.

The sofa can be ordered in various leather versions or in fabric. The frame and tubular steel frames are high-gloss chrome-plated or can be lacquered in all standard RAL colours.
